To ensure her safety in case her acting career didn’t take off, she obtained a job as an assistant to John Sorell, the news director at Channel 9. She cherishes the memories of her time spent in a newsroom.
After spending a year in her role, she received an invitation to join the women’s current affairs team at the television station, titled “No Man’s Land.” Initially starting off as a researcher, she later advanced to becoming one of the program’s on-air reporters.
