As a huge fan of heartfelt dramas with a strong musical undercurrent, I am beyond excited to witness the journey of Mickey Ferrara (Jimi Petulla) in Gravitas Ventures’ newest film, Trust in Love. The trailer alone has stirred up a whirlwind of emotions within me, as I can relate to Mickey’s struggles with personal and professional setbacks.

As a fan, I can’t wait to delve deeper into the core of resilience and love portrayed in this film. The story follows Mickey Ferrara (Petulla), who finds himself at a crossroads in life. His music career is on the brink of collapse, his wife has filed for divorce, and his son is grappling with his sexuality. All he has left is his carefree brother Bobby (Hazelip). Despite being hit with adversity, Mickey remains strong-willed and determined to fight. He’s ready to dig in and trust in the power of love to save his family and perhaps even create one final great record.

When is the Trust in Love release date?
As an avid movie fan, I’m thrilled to share that starting August 5, I’ll get to see Trust in Love on the big screen in selected theaters. And if I can’t make it to the theater, I have the added excitement of being able to watch it from the comfort of my own home when it becomes available for Video On Demand on August 13. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Natasha Wilson (Once Upon a Time), Logan Arditty (Stay Out), Sydney Bullock (Stranger Things), Tim Hazelip, Miljenko Matijevic (SteelHeart), Robby Krieger from The Doors, Eric Roberts (Entourage), and Jimi Petulla (The Fall of America and the Western World). I can hardly wait!
Drawing from real-life experiences, Mick Davis takes the helm as director and producer of “Trust in Love.” Petulla penned the script for this heartfelt production. Jimi Petulla, Inna Petulla, Matt Feige, Jon Sheinberg, and Susan Sheinberg serve as executive producers. Behind the camera, Viorel Sergovici captures each scene as our cinematographer, while Chris Cibelli skillfully edits the film.
