The role of Hutch Mansell in Better Call Saul will be taken on by Stone, with Bob Odenkirk set to reappear as this character. Stone is slated to play the primary antagonist in the sequel. As of now, no information has been shared regarding the participation of other initial cast members, such as Connie Nielsen, RZA, and Christopher Lloyd, in the upcoming production.

Tim Tjahjanto, an Indonesian filmmaker, will not be in charge of directing the upcoming movie. This film’s screenplay was created by Derek Kolstad, John Wick franchise’s creator, along with Aaron Rabin, Umair Aleem, and Bryan Odenkirk. The production companies involved are 87North, Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Eighty Two Films, led by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Marc Provissorio, and Braden Aftergood respectively. Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret from Universal Pictures will oversee the project.
In the initial release, Hutch Mansell, a former assassin, was drawn back into the criminal underworld. Feeling undervalued and unappreciated by those around him, including his loved ones, he found himself seeking validation through dangerous means. The specifics of the second installment’s storyline remain hidden. During its time in theaters, the movie garnered praise from critics. Globally, it generated revenue exceeding $57 million, while its production budget was approximately $16 million.
