Did Dhanush drop hints about his collaboration with Jr NTR in Vetrimaaran's next?

As a die-hard fan of Dhanush, I can hardly contain my excitement as I read about his latest interactions at the promotional event for his upcoming film Raayan in Hyderabad. The prospect of him possibly collaborating with one of my other favorite Telugu actors, Jr NTR (or Tarak, as he is fondly known), in a multilingual movie directed by the brilliant Vetrimaran, is simply thrilling!

During a promotional gathering for Dhanush’s upcoming film Raayan in Hyderabad, the interviewer brought up the topic of his future film endeavors and potential collaborations with Telugu actors in multi-starrer projects. In response, Dhanush mentioned Jr NTR as an actor he would be keen to work with.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always in the know when it comes to the latest happenings in Tollywood. And let me tell you, one actor who consistently grabs my attention is none other than Jr NTR, also known as Tarak, Jr. He’s right up there with Pawan Kalyan as my favorite actors in this industry.

Dhanush is preparing for the upcoming premiere of his next film, Raayan, set to open in theaters on July 26. With the underperformance of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 in the Tamil film industry, there is now significant interest and anticipation surrounding this directorial project by Dhanush.

Dhanush, who previously directed “Paa Paandi” in 2017, is now helming “Raayan.” In this film, Dhanush takes on the main character, which centers around a group of North Chennai gangsters.

As a dedicated follower of Tamil cinema, I’m thrilled to share that following the triumph of Vaathi, Dhanush has earned an impressive fan base in the Telugu states. Consequently, he organized a promotional event in Hyderabad alongside his co-stars Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram, to connect with his admirers there.

Vetrimaaran to direct Dhanush and Tarak?

Vetrimaaran is a prominent director in Tamil cinema, known for creating several successful films alongside Dhanush. Their most recent project together was the hit movie “Asuran” released in 2019. Previously, they worked on other notable projects such as “Vada Chennai,” “Aadukalam,” and “Polladhavan,” which was Vetrimaaran’s directorial debut.

In 2011, the movie “Aadukalam,” helmed by acclaimed director Vetrimaaran, earned Dhanush a National Award for Best Actor. At present, Vetrimaaran is engrossed in the initial stages of making a film called “Vaadivaasal” with Suriya. This upcoming production is inspired by the traditional Tamil sport of Jallikattu.

I’m excitedly speculating that Vetrimaaran has shared a script with both Dhanush and NTR. The anticipation among fans of these talented actors is palpable, as they eagerly await official confirmation regarding the potential collaboration. While promoting Raayan in Hyderabad, did Dhanush hint at this possibility?

Work upfront for Dhanush

Following Raayan, Dhanush has announced two upcoming films. At present, he is engaged in the filming of Kubera, helmed by Shekhar Kammula. This project is a Telugu-Tamil production, featuring Dhanush alongside Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna.

Dhanush is set to collaborate with Arun Matheshwaran once again, this time for a biopic about Ilaiyaraaja’s life. He has also agreed to star in the sequel of Aayirathil Oruvan (2010), which will be helmed by his brother Selvaraghavan, who previously directed the first part.
