As a long-time fan of Comic-Con and a dedicated viewer of various television shows, I’m beyond excited for this year’s SDCC lineup, especially the panels for some of my favorite series.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, attendees are calling it a return to normalcy after disruptions due to pandemics and strikes in previous years. With the complete schedule now available, we’re eagerly anticipating the fantastic TV shows set to grace the event!
Seven television panels at SDCC this year piqued the interest of many, and here’s a sneak peek into what you can anticipate learning about each series:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Panel: Thursday, July 25 from 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm in Hall H
As an avid fan of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. This summer is going to be a double feast for us as the series will be represented not once, but twice at major fan events! Firstly, we’ll head to San Diego Comic-Con in July. And get this – we’ve managed to secure a spot in the grandest hall of the convention center: Hall H! With a capacity of 6,500 people, I can only imagine how close we’ll come to filling it up entirely! Can’t wait for that experience!
As an excited fan, I can’t wait for Disney’s promised “thrilling panel session” packed with exclusive behind-the-scenes tales and secrets directly from the set. And if luck is on our side, attendees might even be treated to some enticing giveaways! The esteemed panelists include Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Jonathan E. Steinberg, and Dan Shotz. We’re eagerly anticipating in-depth discussions about the captivating first season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” followed by a fan Q&A session. Additionally, we hope for tantalizing sneak peeks into what Season 2 has in store!
Dexter: Original Sin
Panel: Friday, July 26 from 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm in Ballroom 20
Excited “Dexter” fans, join together! I’m thrilled that “Dexter: Original Sin” will be discussed in a panel since we don’t have much information about this new series. This session promises to be full of intriguing insights, so get ready to learn! Among all the panels on our agenda, this one is the most tantalizingly mysterious. The creative team is expected to share exciting updates (possibly even sneak peeks) during this panel.
At the “Dexter: Original Sin” panel, you’ll find the following participants: showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, executive producer Scott Reynolds, actors Christian Slater, Patrick Gibson, and Molly Brown. The panel announcement teases that these individuals will discuss the upcoming series and reveal some thrilling secrets.
Ghosts
Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 10:00 am – 10:45 am in Ballroom 20
At San Diego Comic-Con in 2022, Ghosts held its initial live panel, and we’re thrilled that the show is back in Ballroom 20 for another panel before the premiere of Ghosts season 4! The previous year, fans could engage with Ghosts on the exhibition floor through Woodstone Manor, but unfortunately, due to the SAG strike, there was no panel dedicated to the series in 2023.
The “Ghosts” cast and producers will reunite in Ballroom 20 for a lively discussion about the shocking season 3 ending and sneak peeks into season 4. Confirmed attendees include stars Utkarsh Ambudkar, Richie Moriarty, Román Zaragoza, Rebecca Wisocky, and executive producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. CBS guarantees an entertaining Q&A session filled with intriguing insights on the upcoming twists and turns in the popular series.
Superman & Lois
Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm in Hall H
At San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, Hall H is where the action is! Kickstarting the day is an exclusive first look at “Superman & Lois” before its last season begins. Though we no longer experience the excitement of WBTV presenting 15-20 shows here (I truly miss those times!), we’re thrilled that this series is getting the focus it needs through a Saturday panel in Hall H.
At the Superman & Lois event, attendees can look forward to a “unique multimedia experience” comprising of the show’s enticing teaser trailer followed by a question-and-answer session. Participants in this interactive discussion include stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, together with some executive producers.
Is it truly possible that he could be…?
The complete preview for “Superman and Lois” Season Finale will be released on Saturday, July 27 following the panel at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H.

Abbott Elementary
Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm in Indigo Ballroom
After much anticipation, the wait is finally over for “Abbott Elementary” to hold its first live, face-to-face panel at Comic-Con in 2024. The event was virtual in 2022, and due to the SAG strike in 2023, an in-person gathering hadn’t been possible until now. Indigo Ballroom is certain to be packed!
Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, as well as executive producers Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Randall Einhorn, and Brian Rubenstein, have been revealed as participants in the upcoming Comic-Con panel for the series. This extensive lineup is billed as an inside peek into the show’s production, with potential sneak peeks of what lies ahead in the new season thrown in for good measure.
The Rookie
Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm in Indigo Ballroom
At Comic-Con San Diego (SDCC), The Rookie usually makes an appearance each year. However, the upcoming 2024 event holds extra appeal for fans of this series, as they haven’t had an in-person panel since 2019! Although it seems that the seventh season might not air on ABC before early 2025, we remain optimistic that the cast and crew will provide enticing sneak peeks into what lies ahead.
At the Indigo Ballroom, a number of esteemed panelists will make an appearance: Nathan Fillion, Mekia Cox, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, Shawn Ashmore, and Lisseth Chavez. We’re thrilled to have them return to our convention once more, and we anticipate a near-full house!
Tracker
Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm in Indigo Ballroom
At San Diego Comic-Con, don’t miss your chance to see the acclaimed drama series “Tracker” in person, fresh off its successful first season. Justin Hartley and executive producer Elwood Reid will be present to discuss the show and share insights into Colter Shaw’s upcoming adventures in season 2. Though this panel is more intimate with just two attendees, it’s a must-see for devoted fans. If you can’t make it physically, stay tuned on social media for live updates!
