Excitement for the upcoming film “Raayan” reached new heights following the unveiling of its gripping trailer, featuring Dhanush in an intense action persona. The clip commences with a stirring sequence depicting Raayan, portrayed by Dhanush himself, receiving medical attention from a loved one after being injured.

Rayan’s father delivers an eloquent speech, sharing, “In the jungle, it’s not always the lion or the tiger that poses the greatest danger. A wolf, though weaker individually, is cunning. They don’t confront lions directly; instead, they surround them with their pack and annihilate them.”

SJ Suryah portrays Raayan’s main adversary in the film. The trailer reaches a climax with Dhanush’s character depicted as mercilessly killing, accompanied by Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram. The intensity is increased even more with AR Rahman’s stirring musical composition.

Dushara Vijayan expressed her excitement, describing how she was taken aback and touched when Sreyas S contacted her out of the blue to invite her to be part of the upcoming film production by Dhanush and Sun Pictures. “Suddenly, I received a call from Sreyas S (CEO of Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films), informing me that Dhanush was making this movie with Sun Pictures and they wanted me to act in it. It seemed as if the world was sending me a meaningful message.”

It was initially believed that Selvaraghavan wrote the script for the movie Raayan. However, this has been clarified as an incorrect assumption, as Dhanush himself was responsible for penning down the script. AR Rahman handled the music composition, while Om Prakash took care of the cinematography and Prasanna GK edited the film.

The official Over-the-Top (OTT) platform where Raayan will be streaming post-theatrical release is yet to be declared. However, there’s buzz that this much-awaited movie might be accessible on SunNXT after its big-screen debut.
