As the search for answers continued, Jin-Hyuk’s team went to investigate at Baek Cheol-Gyu’s workplace. However, things took a turn for the worse when Baek Cheol-Gyu seized Jung-Eun (Lim Sun) as a hostage. Meanwhile, Jin-Hyuk grew fearful that Baek Cheol-Gyu might have hurt Eun-Ji.

Miss Night and Day episode 12 trailer: Choi Jin-Hyuk saves Jung Eun-Ji/Lee Jung-Eun
In the trailer for episode 12 of “The Miss Night and Day,” Ji-Ung bursts into a location, assuming Cheol-Gyu had taken Lim Sun captive. However, he mistakenly attacks the hospital director, believing him to have taken Mi-Jin instead. The prosecutor then interjects, revealing that Cheol-Gyu had actually not kidnapped the young woman.

The following day, Ji-Ung inquires from Lim Sun about the previous event, seeking an explanation as to why she was kidnapped by the suspect. In reply, Lim Sun asks, “Please believe me on this occasion.” Subsequently, she encounters Cheol-Gyu during interrogation and exhibits a video depicting Mi-Jin morphing into Lim Sun. Ji-Ung ponders over what Lim Sun revealed to the suspect.
At the close of the preview, the prosecutor embraces Mi-Jin, expressing, “I’ll ensure no one dear to me will vanish without a trace again.”
