What is Abigail (2024) about?
In the opening scene, Abigail, a young ballet dancer, is abducted by a band of criminals. They bring her to the secluded Wilhelm Manor and their leader, Lambert, orders them to keep watch over her before they can collect an equal share of the ransom. However, one criminal named Joey expresses unease about guarding Abigail, as he didn’t realize she was just a child. Over time, Joey develops compassion for Abigail and chooses to shield her instead. Later on, it comes to light that Abigail’s father doesn’t care for her and won’t pay the ransom. Another gang member named Frank becomes suspicious of Abigail after learning her father is a notorious criminal. Strange occurrences begin to unfold, gradually revealing Abigail’s hidden peril.
