As a dedicated horror gaming enthusiast with a deep appreciation for psychological thrills, I can hardly contain my excitement for The Terror: Devil in Silver and Dan Stevens’ involvement in this chilling new series. Having recently immersed myself in the terrifying world of Abigail and the upcoming Cuckoo, Stevens has proven himself to be a versatile actor capable of delivering bone-chilling performances that leave a lasting impact.
I’m thrilled to share that Dan Stevens, known for his role in Legion, will not only star but also executive produce The Terror’s third season, titled “Devil in Silver.” According to AMC Networks’ confirmation.
“I’m excited to join ‘The Terror: Devil in Silver.’ This show is a chilling blend of psychological horror and captivating drama, designed to leave a lasting impact on viewers. Victor LaValle, Christopher Cantwell, and their talented team have created a distinctive and haunting tale filled with devils and darkness. I’m eager to contribute an epic performance that will resonate deeply, like the sound of an iron bell echoing through the halls.”
What is The Terror Season 3 about?
Chris Cantwell and Victor LaValle will write and oversee production of “The Terror: Devil in Silver,” a new horror project based on LaValle’s 2012 novel with the same title. This is Stevens’ latest foray into horror, following his role in the comedy horror film “Abigail.” He will next appear in the upcoming horror thriller “Cuckoo,” which is set to hit theaters on August 9.
In Season 3, Stevens portrays Pepper, a hardworking man from the working class who unfortunately ends up in New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital due to a string of misfortunes and a quick temper. This institution is home to individuals that society often overlooks. Inside, Pepper encounters patients who work against him, doctors hiding dark secrets, and perhaps even the Devil himself. As he struggles through this nightmarish world where nothing is as it seems, Pepper realizes that the only way out is to confront the malevolent force residing within New Hyde’s walls. However, facing this entity might reveal that the most terrifying demons lie deep within him.
As a longtime fan of thought-provoking and suspenseful television shows, I’m thrilled to learn that “Devil in Silver” is set to premiere on AMC and AMC+ with such an impressive lineup of executive producers and a talented director at the helm. With Karyn Kusama directing the first two episodes, I have high expectations for this series given her past successes in the genre.
