Here is everything you might want to want to know about the ending of Cobra Kai Season 6 Episode 5.

What happens at the end of Cobra Kai Season 6 Episode 5?

At Miyagi-Do, a maximum of six students are able to travel to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai tournament. Originally, these students were Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory, Demetri, and Devon. Unfortunately, Tory, who was vying for the captain position, departed from the dojo following Daniel’s decision not to allow her to face Sam in a fight. It is important to mention that Tory had recently lost her mother to an illness she had been struggling with. Daniel believed that under these circumstances, she was unsuited for the captaincy role.

As a gamer, I can tell you that Tory’s decision to leave our dojo before the Sekai Taikai took a toll on Daniel and Johnny’s already fragile relationship. In the aftermath of his departure, Johnny announced he would be leaving too once the tournament was over. Hawk stepped in as our new team member, while Sam and Robby were appointed captains.

Why does Tory Nichols join John Kreese’s Cobra Kai in Season 6 Part 1 Episode 5?

Upon arriving in Barcelona, Miyagi-Do is surprised to encounter Cobra Kai, now under the leadership of Kreese, Kim Da-Eun, and Tory. Previously, Daniel and Johnny believed that Cobra Kai had vanished for good; however, this discovery proves otherwise. Furthermore, Tory has rejoined Kreese’s fold.

Based on Today’s report, it’s believed that Tory may be upset because Daniel denied her the chance to face Sam for the captaincy. Daniel’s motives could have been honorable, but at that moment, Tory wasn’t looking for noble gestures. Instead, she needed to express her sorrow in a way that felt right to her: by engaging in a fight.

Another possibility is that Tory’s past draws her back to Cobra Kai. While her peers have brighter futures ahead, she finds comfort in the known presence of Kreesse.
