As a huge fan of Tamil cinema, I’ve been thrilled to witness the journey of Krishnakumar Balasubramanian in the industry. His latest role as Krishna in Kalki 2898 AD is an epic achievement that I can’t help but admire. Having debuted in 2010 with Kadhalagi, Krishnakumar has made a name for himself through his appearances in films like Putham Pudhu Kaalai and Maaran.

Will Lord Krishna be a major part of Kalki 2898 AD part 2?

In a conversation with ETimes, filmmaker Nag Ashwin shared his rationale for keeping Lord Krishna’s face concealed in Kalki 2898 AD. He expressed, “From the beginning, I was determined not to reveal anything distinct or an actor’s portrayal, or any distinguishing trait of Krishna because we believe he is a divine being. The intrigue would be preserved if his appearance remained unknown.”

I’m thrilled beyond words to share the amazing news about the massive success of Kalki 2898 AD! Legendary actor @SrBachchan sir has expressed his joy, and as a gamer, I can only imagine the excitement he must be feeling. It’s an epic blockbuster featuring the incredible talents of @ikamalhaasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Nag Ashwin, Dish Patani, Santhosh Narayanan, Vyjayanthi Films, and Kalki 2898 AD. Some people have spoken of the possibility that Nani, the actor, may portray Lord Krishna in the upcoming sequel. Yet, the director has clarified that this is just a rumor, explaining, “It’s inconsistent with the concept of an avatar or deity, as we believe that such a person would be reborn.”

Currently, Nag Ashwin hasn’t chosen an actor to portray Lord Krishna in the upcoming sequel of “Kalki.” Fans are eagerly awaiting to see how the creators will progress with the storyline without this key character. Keep an eye out for future announcements!
