Together with other residents, he must battle to stay alive.

As the series is set to begin, fans are eagerly asking if the original Sweet Home webtoon has concluded or continues.

Sweet Home webtoon ending: Has it ended?

The webcomic “Sweet Home” by Naver Webtoons debuted on October 12, 2017. It concluded on July 2, 2020. In its entirety, it consists of 141 parts (including a prologue). Among the major characters are Cha Hyun-Soo, Yoon Ji-Soo, Lee Eun-Hyuk, and Pyeon Sang-Wook.

I was devastated when I received the news that my parents had sadly passed away. With heavy heart, I moved into Green Home’s apartment building and took up residence in room 1410, all on my own. At just 18 years old, I’d been carrying a deep sadness and an overwhelming desire to end my own life. But fate had other plans for me. The world was suddenly thrown into chaos as monstrous creatures began to emerge everywhere, posing a grave danger to humanity. I could hardly believe it – humans were transforming into these evil beings! My thoughts of ending things were put on hold in an instant. I realized that not only did I need to find a way to survive this monster outbreak, but also to protect others and possibly even help them regain their humanity. It was a daunting task, but I knew I had to face it head-on.

In the engrossing saga of Sweet Home, I found myself right in the thick of it as Hyun-Soo encountered a monstrous creature within Green Home. This beast left me reeling, rendering me unconscious. Awakening on the ground floor, I struggled against my inner demons that yearned for transformation into a monster. Alas, despite my efforts, I succumbed and became a half-monster instead.

In the comic’s continuation, Hyun-Soo and Jo Yi-Hyun later team up to hunt down the monsters inside the building. They stumble upon Myung-Sook’s transformation chamber, where she lies in a cocoon state. Trying to prevent Yi-Hyun, Hyun-Soo fails as his companion unwittingly sets the cocoon ablaze. This unfortunate act summons all the monsters towards their location.

In contrast to other residents, Hyun-Soo, Ji-Soo, Sang-Woo, Eun-Hyuk, and Yi-Hyun refuse to leave the Green Home. Among them, it is Hyun-Soo who succumbs to his internal struggles and transforms into his strongest monster self. This transformation enables him to overcome Jeong-Seop, who has also assumed his most powerful form, and ultimately emerge victorious in their fierce battle.

How does Sweet Home webtoon end?

Near the conclusion of the webtoon, Ji Soo makes an effort to restore Hyun-Soo’s human form but is unsuccessful. Once they have all left the building, Eun-Hyuk succumbs to his inner demons and transforms into a chaotic and intertwined monster. Despite his intention to save Hyun-Soo’s life, he inadvertently draws Hyun-Soo into this disordered form instead.

Towards the conclusion of Sweet Home’s webtoon, following a rain shower, two cocoons are discovered. Hyun-Soo emerges from one of these cocoons. Later on, he stumbles upon Ji-Soo’s lost phone and a significant guitar melody. Overwhelmed by the memories, Hyun-Soo sheds tears.

In the final chapters of this gripping webtoon, I found myself in a chilling post-apocalyptic South Korea, where snow blanketed every inch of the landscape. As I stepped out of the military camp’s gates, my heart raced at the sight of Hyun-Soo – barefoot and clad only in a thin strip of fabric. The community around me surged forward in excitement, eager to welcome him back. And as the sun set on another day in this new world, I watched with bated breath as Hyun-Soo began to forge a new life, build a family, and discover a renewed sense of purpose.
