As a long-time fan of Chinese dramas, I have seen my fair share of office romances and scandals. But “As Beautiful As You” takes the cake with its latest episode 25. The tension between Ji Xing and Han Ting’s personal and professional lives is palpable, and the added twist of a corporate scandal only intensified the drama.

In the Chinese drama “As Beautiful As You,” episodes 25 was aired on July 16, 2024. The leading roles are played by Xu Kai as Han Ting and Tan Songyun as Ji Xing in this ongoing office romance series. Based on the trailer and earlier episodes, Ji Xing impulsively leaves her job to start her own business. Han Ting, an old friend from college, invests in her venture but hides his true feelings – he is in love with her. Episode 25 highlights another challenge that Ji Xing and Han Ting face together.

In this episode, Ji Xing and Han Ting enjoy a lot of time together as a newly formed couple. Han Ting assures Ji Xing of her commitment, and the two can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves. On the other hand, Li Li and Yi Xiao encounter a challenge in their relationship when Li Li demands a deeper commitment. However, Yi Xiao isn’t ready for that level of involvement. Li Li reveals that she initially entered the relationship just to have fun but has since developed feelings for him. She sets an ultimatum and asks Yi Xiao to reflect on their future.

I’m sitting at my desk in the office, engrossed in my game when Zhou bursts in, looking frantic. He drops a bomb: recent tabloid headlines have been slamming our company, Xingchen Technology. As a passionate fan following the developments at Dongyang, I’ve witnessed the shocking impact of the recent scandal on the company’s stock prices. They plummeted in no time. The new CEO, Han Ting, who was just appointed, is now under fire for being too daring and inexperienced in the eyes of critics. Seizing this opportunity, Chang He and Ms. Yuan have teamed up with a united front, aiming to bring down Han Ting.

Ji Xing pays a visit to Han Ting’s office for a strategic conversation. However, she appears puzzled about who would take such drastic actions leading to their demise. In contrast, Han Ting believes the greatest gainer from the company is orchestrating these events. Seeing Ji Xing’s worry, Han Ting comforts her. He reminds her that challenges often accompany opportunities and they will conquer them hand in hand.

Xu Kai & Tan Songyun face a new challenge

Based on my experience as a seasoned communicator and observer of human dynamics, I perceive that Ji Xing is eager to connect with Fengmei, while Han Ting finds himself in a predicament during a board meeting. His grandfather, a respected elder and influential figure, comes to his aid by asking him to find a resolution to the situation. However, Han Ting confesses that he believes Ji Xing’s troubles may be a result of his actions. He requests for a three-day reprieve to address the issue at hand. In my opinion, this scenario highlights the complexities of interpersonal relationships and the importance of effective communication within families and professional settings. It also showcases the significance of seeking guidance from elders and mentors during times of uncertainty or conflict.

When Ji Xing pays a surprise visit to Fengmei’s run-down dwelling while her spouse is absent, she finds Fengmei in tears. Upon their reunion, Fengmei confesses that her husband is forcing her into these circumstances and expresses her fears for their safety. Ji Xing proposes an agreement: Fengmei will admit that her injury wasn’t caused by the machinery; in exchange, Ji Xing’s firm will cover the costs of her surgery. However, Fengmei is too frightened of her husband to accept this offer. Unfortunately, Ji Xing must depart hastily when Mr. Zhang comes home earlier than anticipated.

What happens in As Beautiful As You episode 25’s ending?

Zeng Di advises Han Ting to completely sever connections with Xingchen Technology and Ji Xing. Han Ting discloses that she is acquainted with his cousin. During this conversation, Zeng Di becomes emotional and confesses that he is involved with Ji Xing. Simultaneously, news outlets announce that Fengmei’s wounds resulted from domestic abuse inflicted by her spouse.

I was deeply disturbed as I witnessed Xu Zhuang’s cruel treatment of Fengmei in her own home. With a heavy heart, I decided to document his actions for evidence. However, when I asked him to desist, he refused and pursued me instead. Fortunately, Han Ting’s men intervened before things got worse.
