According to wrestling reporter Dave Meltzer’s latest update on Wrestling Observer, there’s a good chance that CM Punk will be well enough to perform at SummerSlam. Yet, it’s not yet certain if he will obtain the necessary medical approval for the event.

“A week ago, I was informed that CM Punk’s participation in SummerSlam was likely, but this wasn’t definitive as it only represented about 60-80% certainty. So there is still a chance that his status might change.”
