Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have openly expressed their appreciation for one another’s acting skills multiple times. Yet, they have not had the opportunity to collaborate on a film project together.
In an interview with News18 last year, Alia Bhatt’s husband, Ranbir Kapoor, shared that they had received movie offers as a duo but hadn’t accepted any. More recently, he expressed in the same interview, “We do receive offers to work together on films. However, it’s essential for us to be cast based on our suitability for the role. We shouldn’t take up a project just because people are curious about seeing us together.”
Kaushal expressed that he and Katrina are holding out for a role where they are both deemed ideal by the filmmakers, not just because of their relationship. He stressed, “When the filmmakers genuinely believe we’re the best fits for the characters, regardless of our personal connection, then it will truly enhance the movie. Therefore, we’re on the lookout for such an opportunity. We need to seamlessly embody these characters for it to be effective.”
As I prepare for the upcoming release of “Bad Newz,” I can’t help but share an intriguing detail about my experience on set. My co-star, the talented Katrina Kaif, has become my toughest critic. Yet, her approval means the world to me, especially when it comes to my dancing scenes in the movie.
