Srikanth ending spoilers

I was deeply moved by the story of Srikanth, a visually impaired man who defied all odds to write his own destiny. In this compelling biopic, Rajkummar Rao brilliantly portrays Srikanth’s role, while Jyothika and Alaya F add depth with their pivotal performances. Sharad Kelkar, Arnav Abdagiri, Srinivas Beesetty, Anusha Nuthula, and Sridhar Murthy rounded out the supporting cast superbly.

How does Srikanth meet Devika?

In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, Srikanth is born, bringing great joy to his parents. But their happiness is short-lived when they discover that their newborn son is blind. Following the guidance of their community, Srikanth’s father contemplates ending his son’s life. However, his mother intervenes and spares him. As Srikanth matures, he faces numerous discouragements from those around him who believe he will be unable to contribute to society and must instead beg for a living. Determined not to accept this future, Srikanth strives to alter his own fate.

Due to Srikanth’s exceptional academic abilities, his teacher suggests that his father consider enrolling him in a renowned school in Hyderabad, where education is free. Grateful for this opportunity, Srikanth’s father sends him. Upon arrival, Srikanth meets his new instructor, Devika (portrayed by Jyothika). Immersed in his studies, Srikanth demonstrates an unwavering commitment at the school. However, when he confronts the trustees over serving subpar food to the students, he is expelled. Feeling hopeless, Srikanth roams the streets until Devika locates him and decides to take him under her wing as his guardian.

After completing his education in India and being unable to secure a place in the science stream at college due to the country’s education system, Srikanth files a lawsuit and triumphs. Simultaneously, he earns a spot on the Indian cricket team, fulfilling his father’s aspirations. However, after receiving acceptance letters from four international universities, he decides to pursue higher education overseas. He subsequently travels to Boston for studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It is there that he meets Swathi and they develop a deep bond. Eventually, she motivates Srikanth to go back to India and help other people with disabilities.

Does Srikanth achieve his dream?

Srikanth goes back to India and collaborates with Devika in teaching disadvantaged students. But he discovers that there are no job opportunities for them. Determined to make a difference, Srikanth sets out to establish Bollant, a company designed to employ individuals with disabilities. He gains encouragement from the esteemed former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam, and another entrepreneur, Ravi.

Srikanth takes joy in creating jobs for people with disabilities and then decides to enter politics. However, when some individuals attempt to exploit his disability, Devika steps in to help him regain focus. Ultimately, Srikanth is recognized for his business accomplishments but receives the award in a distinct category. He declines the honor, though, because of its specific designation. In his moving address, he expresses gratitude towards his parents, Devika, Ravi, and Swathi. Moreover, he pledges to the audience that he will secure the award without any categorical limitations.

I was blown away by Srikanth Bolla’s groundbreaking impact on India’s education system. His innovative mindset captivated me and millions of others. Even the esteemed APJ Abdul Kalam praised his unwavering confidence and determination to make his dreams a reality.

After its theatrical run, Srikanth is currently streaming on Netflix.
