Kagurabachi Could Be Next Demon Slayer With Upcoming Anime

As a long-time manga and anime fan with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’m always on the lookout for the next big thing in the Shonen Jump universe. With My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen coming to an end, I’ve been eagerly waiting to see which series will take their place in terms of popularity.

Shōnen Jump manga’s popular series My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen are nearing their conclusions. As a result, new shows will need to rise in prominence within the anime scene. Demon Slayer‘s final arc is being adapted into films, but which series could potentially replace its widespread popularity?

As a dedicated manga enthusiast with years of experience under my belt, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the latest addition to Shōnen Jump’s roster: Kagurabachi. This captivating series has already made waves in the manga community, and it comes as no surprise that its publisher, Shueisha, is considering bringing it to life as an anime as well. Having seen countless manga-to-anime adaptations throughout my journey in the world of Japanese animation, I can’t help but feel a palpable sense of anticipation for Kagurabachi’s potential animated adaptation. The prospect of witnessing these captivating characters and intricately crafted storylines come to life on screen is an experience that never fails to leave me in awe. So, fellow manga and anime lovers, get ready to immerse yourselves in the magical world of Kagurabachi!

Kagurabachi To Be Turned Into Anime

Based on recently discovered legal records, it appears that Kagurabachi is slated to receive an anime adaptation in the near future. Shueisha has already submitted a trademark application for “Kagurabachi” in relation to animation production, as well as pre-recorded media and video files.

Based on my extensive experience as a dedicated fan of anime and manga, I’ve noticed that it’s not unusual for trademarks of popular series to be filed long before their actual release. From my perspective, this is a common practice in the industry. For instance, I remember how Sakamoto Days had its trademark filed as far back as late 2021, with its animation scheduled to premiere only in Winter 2025. Similarly, other renowned series such as Kaiju No. 8 and Oshi No Ko had their trademarks registered years before they graced our screens. As someone who keeps a close eye on the anime world, I find this trend quite fascinating and a testament to the meticulous planning and anticipation that goes into bringing these captivating stories to life.

Based on authentic legal documents submitted by Shueisha in early 2024, the production of Kagurabachi’s TV anime adaptation has been officially confirmed.

In simpler terms, this implies that a Kagurabachi anime might be under development, but it hasn’t started production yet. Shueisha is keeping it under wraps to maximize profits when they do decide to produce it. Finding an animation studio willing to work on the series is likely the first step in the process.

As a devoted fan, I can tell you that Kagurabachi began its serialization in September 2023. With less than a year of existence, it’s still early for animation studios and fellow fans to dive headfirst into creating an anime adaptation. Let’s be patient and give the story more time to unfold before we bring it to life on screens.
