As a devoted gamer and long-time subscriber of Xbox Game Pass, I’ve grown accustomed to the convenience and variety that this service brings to my gaming lifestyle. However, recent revelations from a trusted insider have left me feeling somewhat let down.

Game Streaming services are a rising trend right now, with PlayStation+, Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia GeForce Now as the top brands that come to mind immediately. But what if we care about playing freshly released titles for free, can these services give us that?

Well, a known figure has just told us what we can expect from the Xbox Game Pass in the future.

New Releases On Xbox Game Pass

If you hold an Xbox Game Pass subscription and are excited to play newly released games right away, I regret to inform you that this may not be possible. According to reports from JezCorden based on insights from Xbox insiders, some upcoming titles will not be available on Game Pass at launch.

Not all games take months or even years to arrive on Game Pass; there are still titles that become available on day one, like Starfield and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
