Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Cast: Young Sheldon Alums to Guest Star in Spin-off

As a dedicated fan of the Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon universe, I am beyond thrilled to hear that Zoe Perry, Annie Potts, and Raegan Revord will be reprising their roles as Mary Cooper, Meemaw, and Missy Cooper in the new CBS spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Having grown up with Sheldon and the Cooper family, it feels like a homecoming to know that these beloved characters will continue to be a part of my weekly TV routine.

Zoe Perry, Annie Potts, and Raegan Revord from “Young Sheldon” have been announced as new additions to the “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” series in the roles of guest stars.

Perry, Potts, and Revord are set to repeat their characters, Mary Cooper, Meemaw, and Missy Cooper, in the new CBS spin-off sitcom. This announcement follows two months after the conclusion of Young Sheldon’s seventh season.

Who is in the Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage cast?

George and Mandy, portrayed by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment respectively, will star in “Georgie and Mandy’s Beginnings.” In the final season of “Young Sheldon,” their characters tied the knot. The new spin-off series will showcase their journey as they adjust to married life in Texas, deal with the complexities of adulthood, parenthood, and marriage. Previously announced regulars include Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones, who reprise their roles as Jim and Audrey McAllister, Mandy’s parents.

“Spending the past seven years with Sheldon and the Cooper clan has been an honor for me. I’m thrilled that our journey together will continue with Georgie and Mandy. Chuck and the two Steves have brilliantly created and shared heartfelt stories that resonate with fans of all ages. We’re excited to see what’s next in this cherished universe.” (CBS executive Amy Reisenbach’s statement paraphrased)

A spin-off show, overseen by Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, and Steve Holland, will make its debut. This production is brought to you by Warner Bros. Television. The anticipated release date is set for Thursday, October 17, during the 2024-2025 CBS television lineup.
