Renzo (EZ) is now the newest member of Binance‘s Launchpool, which includes 52 other projects, signifying yet another achievement for the leading global cryptocurrency exchange.
James Poole and Lucas Kozinski founded Renzo, a user-friendly decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, which streamlines the process of staking on EigenLayer. This means that users can now easily and quickly participate in staking without the usual complexities.
Binance to List EZ on April 30
The fact that Renzo is part of Binance Launchpool signifies Binance’s dedication to nurturing creativity and assisting budding blockchain initiatives in their community.
Starting from September 2020, Launchpool has given users access to new projects and allowed them to earn incentives by staking. Most recently, Renzo has jumped on board, offering users a chance to harvest its native cryptocurrency, named EZ.
Starting from April 24, Wednesday, Binance announced that users can earn EZ tokens by staking their BNB and FDUSD directly in separate pools. Five hours following the announcement, users will have access to these pools’ web pages.
Approximately 2.5% of Renzo’s total token amount is set aside for this six-day long event, ending on April 29 at 11:59 p.m. (UTC).
Trading and Token Pairs
Once the farming window is closed, Binance will list the token for trading on April 30.
Investors have the option to exchange EZ with different pairings like BTC-EZ, USDT-EZ, BNB-EZ, FDUSD-EZ, and TRY-EZ. This diversity in trading choices improves the market fluidity and convenience for investors.
Users on Binance have been warned by the platform to stay alert for fraudsters offering pre-sale opportunities for the EZ token prior to its official trading start time. Keep in mind that the EZ token is set to make its debut on Binance first, followed by listings on other exchanges at a later stage.
“Binance will be the first platform to list the token mentioned herein, with trade starting at 2024-04-30 12:00 (UTC) – any claims to offer this token for sale before the stated timeline are false advertising. Please do your own research to ensure the safety of your funds,” the company warned.
Scammers Steal 480 BNB
A warning has been issued after unsuccessful attempts to hack a crypto project on Binance Launchpool in March. Recently, scammers took advantage of a fake version of the Ethena Labs token (ENA) following its release on Binance Launchpool last month.
Scammers successfully swindled 480 BNB, approximately $295,000 based on present market value, by confusing the counterfeit ENA token with the genuine one.
PeckShield, a company specializing in blockchain security, identified an error where a false ENA token was mistakenly recognized as the real one at first.
