In a conversation with Deadline, Gina Torres shared her thoughts on why Tommy Vega’s last moments on the show aligned perfectly with the character’s true personality. “I thought it was spot-on for Tommy. Nothing about it felt unexpected. When I read it, I thought, ‘Absolutely, she’s a soldier.’ She would go out fighting and helping others just as she had come in.
