50 Cent Calls Out Joe Budden Over ‘Therapy’ Comment

50 Cent, a well-known rapper and actor, has fired back harshly at Joe Budden, who suggested that the artist should seek therapy after 50 Cent’s Instagram post about Irv Gotti. In response, the Grammy winner shared his thoughts on Budden’s comments, hinting at Budden’s case involving lewdness and stalking from December 2024, which he mentioned on social media.

So, here’s what 50 Cent said about Budden in reply to the latter’s comments.

What did 50 Cent say about Joe Budden?

The “Baby by Me” singer responded strongly to Joe Budden’s recent comments on him.

50 Cent recently posted on Instagram a screenshot of Joe Budden’s YouTube podcast. In his caption, he said, “Joe, keep your comments about me seeking therapy to yourself. And please, cover up – it’s not appropriate for you to be walking around half-naked. What are you doing in the hallway with no clothes on?

After that incident, the rapper has frequently posted tributes to the broadcaster on social media, even sharing a few semi-revealing photos of Budden. This is connected to the accusations that the “Pump It Up” artist faced for supposedly visiting his neighbor’s doorstep in an unclothed state.

50 Cent’s response follows after Joe Budden found issue with his Instagram post about Irv Gotti’s demise. The actor from Den of Thieves recently shared a picture of himself enjoying a hookah near a gravestone. This image appeared to be in honor of the deceased record producer, accompanied by the caption, “I’m puffing on that Gotti pack, may God rest him LOL.

50 Cent’s joke on social media seemed to upset Joe Budden, as indicated by a recent episode of his podcast on HipHopDX, which has since been removed. Budden expressed that hip-hop artists like Kanye West, 50 Cent, and himself could benefit from therapy, regardless of whether or not people agree with the reasoning. He added that 50 Cent would undoubtedly stand firm in his stance on the matter.

Initially, Budden responded to 50 Cent’s post about Irv Gotti by saying, “If 50 wants to feel that way, then step into the cigar lounge.” He clarified, “I’m not dictating his emotions, let him have those feelings! [However,] the manner in which he expressed them was incorrect.” Despite removing the podcast episode, Budden has not yet publicly addressed 50 Cent’s response.
