1. K-Ramp (Telugu)

This year on Diwali, the upcoming film “K-Ramp” starring Kiran Abbavaram and Yukti Thareja as the main characters is set to hit the screens. The Telugu language movie unveiled its initial appearance not long ago, showcasing Kiran Abbavaram in a lively persona.
Wearing a relaxed style, the poster showcased him in front of a fiery heart symbol, hinting at its theme. The forthcoming movie is penned and helmed by Jain Shashi Naidu (or simply Jains Nani).
2. Dude (Tamil)
- Cast: Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, R Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini
- Director: Keerthiswaran
- Genre: Romantic Action Comedy
This year, the film titled “Dude” featuring Pradeep Ranganathan in the main character will be released for Diwali. This upcoming production combines romance, comedy, and action, with Keerthiswaran at the helm – making his directorial debut after working as an associate to Sudha Kongara.
In this film produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the well-known actress Mamitha Baiju shares the lead role alongside stars such as R Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, and others who take on significant characters.
Although specifics about the movie’s storyline haven’t been revealed just yet, there’s an anticipation that it will blend romantic and comedic elements seamlessly, punctuated by exciting action sequences.
3. Sardar 2 (Tamil)
- Cast: Karthi, SJ Suryah, Rajisha Vijayan, Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath
- Director: PS Mithran
- Genre: Spy Action Thriller
The film titled “Sardar 2” featuring Karthi as the main character is anticipated to hit theaters during Diwali 2025. Although an official announcement about the release date is yet to be made, it will serve as a sequel to the actor’s successful movie “Sardar” from 2022.
In the initial film of the series, we meet Vijay Prakash, an inspector who is the offspring of a once-discredited RAW operative named Chandra Bose. With Chandra Bose reappearing, indicating that he’s still working on his covert mission, it seems probable that the next installment will continue with his ongoing assignment.
In the upcoming movie, Karthi will play both the father and the son. Notably, Rajisha Vijayan will be returning to portray a character she played in the original film.
4. Karuppu (Tamil)
- Cast: Suriya, Trisha Krishnan, Sshivada, Swasika, Indrans, Yogi Babu
- Director: RJ Balaji
- Genre: Action Entertainer
This year, Suriya is gearing up for another appearance on the silver screen with the movie “Karuppu,” directed by RJ Balaji. Although a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, it appears that this new project will be an action-packed comedy film.
According to whispers, the movie appears to tell the story of an attorney who disguises himself as a vigilante at night in a small town. Yet, it’s important to note that this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
