Amidst today’s cloudy or unpredictable climate, Emeric Tchatchoua, founder and designer of 3.Paradis, aims high to bring a sense of joy to the world of fashion. This collection, referred to as “introspective” by the Parisian label, delves into the concept of time’s illusion using desert imagery as its backdrop. The presentation showcased illustrations from the classic children’s book The Little Prince, Surrealist-inspired design elements, and a vibrant, energizing color scheme.
In this venue, the runway was sprinkled with sand and the windows were colored in vibrant desert tones, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the Sahara desert from “The Little Prince.” The initial looks took inspiration from the arid colors of deserts, featuring shades of beige, tan, rust, and dark brown. As the presentation progressed, deeper blues emerged, reflecting the star-filled garments inspired by the beloved children’s book. Towards the end of the show, 3.Paradis switched gears, displaying electric orange and fiery pink hues, symbolizing a blazing sunset.

3.Paradis revives timeless menswear shapes like two-piece suits, leather blousons, refined shirts, and voluminous trousers, but adds a whimsical twist to each design. The pants’ legs and jacket sleeves sport twisted pleats, the waistbands of the pants have a unique fourfold design, and some collared button-ups unexpectedly transform into a see-through organza on one side. Notable features include a recurring clock motif that eventually materializes as a coat adorned with multiple watches, and a fresh take on camouflage adorned with shimmering crystals.
The runway showcased various notable models as well, such as the rap artist French Montana, sporting an unbalanced white jacket, and Julez Smith, Solange’s son, wearing a vibrant hot pink suit set.
