The series has quickly become one of my favorites, and I’ve been eagerly anticipating each new episode every week.
As a dedicated gamer and avid fan of SBS K-dramas, I was looking forward to the latest episode of “Good Partner” this Friday. Sadly, I’ve just learned that the show will be taking a break due to the coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The series, which premiered on July 12, 2024, boasts an impressive cast with Jang Na-Ra and Nam Ji-Hyun in lead roles. However, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see how their stories unfold on screen.
Recently debuted drama “Good Partner” on SBS has attracted much interest for its compelling storyline and well-developed characters. The series focuses on two divorce lawyers, Cha Eun-Kyung (played by Jang Na-Ra) and Han Yu-Ri (Nam Ji-Hyun), who have very different approaches to their work. On Monday, July 22, 2024, SBS and Good Partner made an announcement. They shared that due to the coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the broadcast of the K-drama would pause from July 27 to August 10, 2024. As a result, Episode 5 will be shown on Friday, July 26, 2024, for viewers to enjoy before the break.
Although Episode 6 of Good Partner won’t be released until the week following August 10, 2024, fans can look forward to watching it on Friday, August 16, 2024. The show will resume its weekly broadcast at 10 p.m. KST on SBS every Friday and Saturday, adhering to its schedule after the Olympics coverage. Additionally, viewers can stream the episodes on Viki for convenience.
Based on data from Nielsen Korea, the television series “Good Partner” has been gaining more viewers. Its debut episode drew a 7.8% average viewership rating across the country. In just the first three episodes, it broke into double-digit ratings. The fourth installment even registered an impressive average nationwide rating of 13.7%, solidifying its position among popular K-dramas.
