As a lifestyle expert and avid movie enthusiast, I’ve had the pleasure of watching and appreciating many films throughout the years. One that truly stands out to me is Nithiin’s nostalgic fantasy action flick “Sri Anjaneyam,” which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Nithiin recently posted on Instagram to mark the 20-year anniversary of his film “Sri Anjaneyam.” Directed by Krishna Vamsi, this nostalgic fantasy action flick hit theaters in 2004 and featured Arjun Sarja and Charmme Kaur as the main leads.
The actor posted on social media an authentic film poster, expressing “Twenty years have passed for #SriAnjaneyam! Time seems to fly. Let’s cherish the memories and the enchantment; here’s to many more years of enjoying Sri Anjaneyam with all of you!”

As a lifestyle expert, I’d describe it this way: In a Telugu language movie, I come across an engaging story where Nithiin plays the role of Anji, an orphaned boy. Tragically, his parents were taken from him in a cruel act by a corrupt politician. Fortunately, the village temple head priest stepped in and lovingly raised me, Anji, as if I were his own child.
Later in life, the unscrupulous politician who dabbles in dark magic seeks to harm Anji. But Anji, a devoted follower of Hanuman, the Hindu god, is protected by him. The remainder of the film explores how Anji and Hanuman form a connection, with the god continuing to aid Anji throughout his life.
In addition to the main actors, Pilla Prasad, Chandra Mohan, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, L. B. Sriram, Pruthviraj, Subbaraju, Allari Subhashini, and Gautam Raju played significant parts in the film.
Nithiin’s Work front
Nithiin’s most recent appearance was in the 2023 film “Extra Ordinary Man,” where he took on the main role. In this action-comedy production helmed by Vakkantham Vamsi, Nithiin portrayed a aspiring junior artist aiming to leave his mark in the Telugu film industry.
The film recounts his on-screen battles and his ability to understand his own life through it. Notable performances were given by actors such as Sreeleela, Rajasekhar, Sudev Nair, Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Sampath Raj, Brahmaji, among others.
Despite receiving unfavorable criticism from critics and disappointing box office numbers, the actor will star in an upcoming film titled Thammudu. This movie, helmed by Venu Sriram, focuses on a heartfelt brother-sister bond with Sapthami Gowda and Laya portraying the lead roles.
Additionally, the actor stars as the main character in the film “Robinhood,” acting alongside actress Sreeleela for a second time on screen.
