2 of Blake Lively’s It Ends With Us Co-Stars Will Testify Against Justin Baldoni

In a new development, Blake Lively’s lawyers have announced that the courtroom showdown with Justin Baldoni is spinning further, as they claim that two additional actresses are prepared to provide testimony against him in the ongoing dispute.

What did Blake Lively’s legal team recently say?

In a revised lawsuit submitted on Tuesday, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Lively’s lawyers state that two other actresses are ready to provide testimonies detailing discomfort they experienced with Baldoni during the filming of It Ends With Us, in relation to alleged inappropriate behavior.

The lawsuit doesn’t mention any actresses, nor does it provide any relevant quotes or texts about the matter, making it ambiguous who will be providing testimony. However, The Hollywood Reporter suggests that the two women under scrutiny are actresses Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer, who co-starred with Lively in the movie.

Essentially, the spokesperson for Ms. Lively mentioned that these victim-witnesses have granted her authorization to disclose their communications within the Amended Complaint exactly as presented, and they are prepared to offer testimony and present documents during the discovery phase.

In a statement issued today, lawyers Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb announced that Ms. Lively has submitted an updated complaint. This new filing offers substantial new proof and support for her initial accusations. The fresh evidence includes private conversations between Ms. Lively, Sony and Wayfarer representatives, as well as multiple witnesses who were not previously disclosed. Furthermore, the revised complaint contains considerable contemporary evidence suggesting that Ms. Lively was not the only one voicing concerns about on-set misconduct over a year before the movie’s release; it also details the threats, harassment, and intimidation that have been directed towards Ms. Lively, as well as numerous innocent bystanders, in response to the defendants’ alleged retaliatory actions.

According to their statement, Lively’s legal representatives, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, mention that the revised lawsuit contains further proof, plus extra text messages from Lively dated in May 2023, which suggest a disquieting film set atmosphere.

In a series of text messages, Lively expressed, “I had planned to invite you for a meeting tomorrow with these colleagues. It was quite an unexpected surprise; they’re like HR specialists today. Both of them! Honestly, I hadn’t anticipated this turn of events. I’ve always known it was coming, but tonight I got home and shed some tears.

Lively’s writings also include the actress making references to Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios partner Jamey Heath as “inappropriate individuals…Please, control your impulses. This isn’t about me. I don’t desire it. I don’t want your looks, words, actions, or videos of your spouse in various states of undress. Yes, it’s startling. It’s like a circus act.
