In the very first novel by Diana Gabaldon, she subtly introduced a spectral presence, which I firmly believe to be none other than my beloved character, Jamie Fraser. She’s always been open about this ghostly apparition being Jamie himself, and I eagerly await the revelations in book 10 – the final chapter of their captivating story – on how and why he finds himself in such a state.
In the TV show, this particular storyline hasn’t played a significant role in the past, so it’s not unexpected that it won’t feature in the final episodes.
